Well, would you look at what came to my email inbox today! Thought it was interesting that this should come from my Needle Man the very day after I wrote about him. I share it with you here…

  1. Well I have to admit that I’d never really put much belief in acupuncture, but I guess you’re living proof that there is something genuine in its effectiveness… and it has been around for a few years too I guess… lol… Glad it’s having a positive effect on your quality of life though… 🙂

    • Truthfully Brian, neither did I.
I still don’t understand how or why it works, and I’m not sure that I buy into the whole “balancing energies” theory, but I can’t deny that something is happening when those needles are in. About ten minutes in, everything starts to twitch, and keeps twitching for about half an hour until it begins to settle down. The first time it happened was very unsettling, especially because I was such a skeptic. Now, every time he changes things up and works the needles in different patterns, the twitching is most intense, with each session becoming less so until he switches up the patterns again. Fascinating!
