So, I guess it’s time to…

do my “this is my last post until after vacation” post.

I don’t *truly* know if it will be my last, but since tomorrow is going to be hectic as anything, and the next day I board the Mechanical Horse of Fear, I figured I’d better drop *something* in here!

(P.S.  I picked up a little tripod so I can at least ATTEMPT fireworks…I’m not very optimistic, but what the heck?!)

By the way, I feel like I’m leaving my newborn baby behind!  This is very strange!  It must come with the blogging territory, yes?  I’ve had so much fun the past couple of weeks.  Thanks to everyone for inspiring me to continue, and be sure to come back on the 20th.  Hopefully I’ll have loads of Mickey to share!

M-I-C-See you real soon! K-E-Y-Why? Because we like you! M-O-U-S-E!

Dear Lord, bless the captain of this aircraft, his first officer and associates.
Bless the flight attendants and all the passengers. Bring us all safely to our destinations.
Bless the engines that they may work perfectly in every detail and produce maximum power. May they operate with full efficiency which their builders intended.
Bless this plane in all it’s structural, operational, functional and electrical parts and connections.
Give us a perfect and powerful take-off. Bring us into smooth air under blue skies and speed us swiftly and powerfully to our destination.
Give us the joy of flight and remind us always of the wonder of Your creation and the limitless space of the sky and the vast beauty of the earth.
We place ourselves confidently in Your hands. We give You thanks for Your watchful care knowing that, even as You hold us in Your great hands on the ground, You also hold us here in the air.
Thank You dear Lord for Your wonderful kindness and goodness. Amen.

This? From the man who wants to burn Teletubbies? Cripes!
See what I live with Ladies??? The ultimate enigma.

(Okay, and I’m gonna print this out to carry in my pocket, as both my hands will be busy holding Mom’s Holy Water and Rosary.) 😉

Oh, and by the way Zan, feel free to remove your tongue from your cheek anytime now.

Have a wonderful vacation, and conquer that mechanical horse of fear! Looking forward to hearing all about it when you get back. Oh, and if for some reason you find the need to wrestle Zan’s tongue from his cheek, we wouldn’t be opposed to photo documentation. 🙂

Have an awesome time! Not that I envy you heading there with a toddler Baby boy is toddling, yes? What ‘cho thinking, girl? Glutton for punishment? But really, have an awesome time! I meant it! 😉

Thanks for all the well wishes! 🙂
karmardav, yes he is toddling, and dangerous!! I do think I’m a little bit crazy to attempt this, but we’re doing it for the girls (10 & 6.) 🙂
And we’re staying in a house, so we’ll have more flexibility than we would at a hotel. We have no problem skipping the parks to hang out in our pool now and then! 🙂
See you all when we get back. XO
